The MacPhee enterprise incorporates both MacPhee Engineering and Rata Sporting Clays, MacPhee’s Target Shooting business. Owner Gordon MacPhee is considered to be one of New Zealand’s top shooters and instructors, and is an accomplished engineer, starting the business back in 1965.

MacPhee Clay Target Shooting, home of Rata Sporting Clays offers a wide range of coaching services to our valued clients. Whether you’re an individual wanting to learn from scratch or touch up on your form, a school team training for an event, or perhaps a corporate or social group wanting to have some fun, we cater to everyone. We also sell guns and ammunition, as well as hire and sell clay traps.

MacPhee Engineering have produced countless challenging engineering products that have added value for our clients since 1965. Precision tasks undertaken on bridges, covered yards and general repairs are never too large or too small.
